A Good Portfolio is an easy and affordable way to display and manage your portfolio online.
We're recent art school graduates. We wanted to make something for people like us: concept artists, illustrators, photographers. You need your work online, but you don't have time or money to make a website. With A Good Portfolio, you'll be able to show off your portfolio and customize it to make it your own.
It's free! That's right, we've got a killer Free Plan, with themes, up to 55 images, unlimited groups – the works.
You can also upgrade to our Pro Plan for either $7.00 a month, or $70.00 a year – same plan, two convenient pricing options. With the Pro Plan, you'll have unlimited images, & complete customization. You can modify themes you've installed, or make your own from scratch, using our new template language.
We came up with these awesome layout templates for your portfolio, so youcan display your work online, without worrying about CSS and HTML’ing. We’ve made a bunch of themes to get you started, and we'll be adding new themes to our Theme Park from time to time, so be sure to check them out! Eventually you'll be able to submit a theme to our collection, that's something we're working on for our next release.
But it's free because we want to make sure we've got a solid product on our hands, before taking your hard earned dough. By opening it up for free now, when we're sure we've got something worth paying for, we'll offer a paid version. It will have been tested, it'll be reasonably priced, and it'll be in addition to the free version you see today.
Oh, you've got to be logged in to install a theme, otherwise, you'll only be able to preview them.
Yep, if you sign up for our Pro Plan, you'll have complete control over the style of your site. By using your own CSS & writing your own HTML, you can modify everything – colors, layouts, fonts, and more.
To everyone who signed up during our beta testing period, nothing will change, really. You'll still have your free accounts, with all your images. We’ve gone to the trouble of applying the default Good Portfolio theme, but leaving your already-customized CSS intact, so your portfolio should look the same. Your box will be invisible, but if you upgrade, you can make all the changes you want.
If you customized your CSS, all that customization will still be applied to your portfolio. You won't be able to make further changes until you upgrade to our Pro Plan. If you install a new theme it'll override what you have, but if you leave it as it, nothing will be changed.
When you downgrade, we automatically re-install the theme you last installed. You'll lose any CSS and HTML customizations, but you'll still be able to pick a theme from our Theme Park.
Click on the sign up button on our home page. Or, there's a link at the top of this page. Or, just click right here.
Yes, it will.
With the Free Plan, you can upload up to 55 images. The Pro Plan, though, will give you an unlimited number of images! Weee!
We're working hard to optimize the behind-the-scenes stuff. In the meantime, the best thing for your sanity is to keep your images web size. Maybe somewhere around 250kb or so, which is larger than you'd think, really.
Go to Your Account page, change what you'd like to change and save the changes when you're done!
Click the Forget Password link on the login page and enter your email address. We will send you an email with a link that will take you to a page to reset your password.
Go to the Customize tab on your dashboard and fill out the About section.
